June 2024: Payments deducted prematurely
On 28 June, we debited an amount on the accounts of 1,514 residents. This should not have happened. These residents had in fact objected to an assessment or requested a tax remission. Normally, the direct debit is then stopped until a decision is made.
We sent a letter to the people concerned explaining what had happened, with our apologies. What they can do now is explained in this letter. We will also treat their objection or request for remission as a matter of priority.
We have also taken measures to ensure that this cannot happen again.
